Don`t know what I am gonna do with it yet though.
69, numbers matching 383 that runs. Sadly, it`s really rusty though...

Yep, it is. I wish she wasn`t so rusty though. AMD is my friend LOL! Wish I could find a solid shell with the correct title and vin because between the parts I have and this car, I have everything. I probably shouldn`t part mine though because it has a clear title and fender tag. Just don`t know what to do. I have a wicked 440 that I would like to put in something too.....

Quite a bit just because it runs good. Tranny slips a bit but probably from sitting. Heck, the ignition switch light even works, the dash pad is nice..... hmmmmm.

73rallye440magnum

Looks like a nice pounder. Patch it up and drop that 440 in it. Then beat on it!  :2thumbs:

Nice score.

WHY are people afraid to say what they paid? Everyone knows that these cars aren't cheap anymore, but telling the truth can help others here.

kikgas01

Because my ex wife comes to the same forums  I do and it`s none of her business what I payed. Or anyone elses as far as I am concerned. I don`t like to make my financial business public, especially on the internet for everyone to see. Hope this answers your question. It does have tall bumperettes. I have another bumper, brakets and all with the same ones laying out back. I need more room lol. I like the original color of it too.

73rallye440magnum

I'm not the least bit offended that you don't want to share that information. I feel rude asking, but I am in the market.

Yeah, I`m honestly not trying to offend anyone. (my ex maybe LOL.)I know AMD stuff is expensssssive lol!!!! WOW! I could find a nice shell for the cost of new metal.

GL#10

Good score   :2thumbs: , if you don't want to tackle the metal work ,turn it and find another one .

The thing I really like about it is that it is so complete. No looking for little pieces. Just all of the big metal ones LOL.

At least you have a trunk floor...mine has NO floor left.  Previous owner patched up the trunk with fiberglass...yes makes me a bit nervous driving it but hey it still is worth it until I can affor to fix it up someday

kikgas01

True. The sad part is that it actually wouldn`t be that hard to fix being how it is right now. I still think it would be easier to find a good shell...... I don`t think it holds water as well LMAO@ you. That was funny shit right there.

GL#10

Looks like some metal work in your future . AMD give discounts right ...

Still a good score  :2thumbs:

Nice score. When you find a solid body you will be all set. I'm still  :scope: for a solid Southwest one for you.  :2thumbs:

true..I just think since it runs good...have some fun with it while you search  :2thumbs: good luck

kikgas01

True. Just patch it and run it until I find a good shell. That is a great idea actually. I appreciate it 68 for having your feelers out for me!!!!  :2thumbs:

It`s REALLY rusty lol.

That's not so bad. That's 3x as much trunk floor as I had in 1986. There weren't any parts cars back then, either. Or repop sheetmetal for that matter. I removed the bulk of my trunk floor with a cold chisel and tool sale grinder.

Hiding things from the wife (who read this ) and admitting on this public forumn is a recipe for disaster.  Ask me how I learned the hard way. :Twocents:

kikgas01

She is my EX wife and does not need to know my finances. My current wife of ten years does not care. Besides, nobody needs to know my financial info or my reasons for not sharing my private business. Unless everyone wants to put their REAL socal security numbers down or any other private info then that question should be dropped please. Just sayn...

ACUDANUT

Hey, relax.  Everyone here just wants to know if you got a good deal or got burned. It's not like you you bought a million dollar airplane.

Cooter

Maybe some folks don't want to be "Judged" by folks here? Maybe some people don't want to hear any sh*t over how f*cked they really got?

I can understand Kigas01. No need to know what you paid, then you couldn't flip it for profit as everybody'd be wanting it for what you paid. :2thumbs:

I didn`t get f@#$ed, been in them for years. I know the difference between a decent deal and not. This what I aquired a couple weeks ago, sheesh.

70 6-way seat...

Well you get the idea.......

That is additional parts including the Charger?  I wish you were closer, I need seats and front grill/assembly!    :'(

Scored the parts a couple weeks ago. Got the Charger yesterday, so no, 2 different deals from 2 different people and am not done searching lol. Might have found a 68, but we will see.
Wisconsin + Iowa = same rust, weather, snow salt etc. We usually get the rusty cars with good interiors.

kikgas01

It is to rusty to save guys. It needs every piece of metal replaced and I just don`t feel it is worth it. I dislike parting these cars out but imo, it`s a great complete running and driving parts car. :eek2:

Memphis Mopar

Ok since you wont tell how much you paid for the car.. Tell us how much you paid for the pile of parts...... Just kidding it is your business.

Regarding the wife, I tell her just one more.... :hah: :hah:

FWIW vote, in this case, some 1980's level patches, paint the F6 and beat accordingly....... :scratchchin:

F8-4life

yea its rusty but it's also F6

kikgas01

I can`t afford to restore it. It was nice to putt around in a Charger again though. I was going to use it as a parts car but changed my mind. Nothing else, I will sell it to someone who will restore it and find a different one. Maybe I can trade it for a different Mopar? Sure looks great in my Mopar garage!

Here is some pics from today when I got it running.

I dig the old Cal Custom valve covers!

69finder

Nice Fargo!! Is that a 48??  We (up here in Canada) got a few of those old Fargos around.  Cool trucks, I love the 'grill', totally different than any other car or truck (that I know of anyways, I don't know much!)

Either your good with the camera or its not that bad of shape :P

How are the frame rails ?

Looks like it needs typical charger stuff from the doors back. 1/4's,trunk floor, extensions, lower valance, maybe dutchman panel ?

$2500-$3000 in metal.

Local car 69 SE 383 from california rust free yet needs a trunk floor and 1 quarter. $17,900

kikgas01

Again, it needs every piece of metal replaced. There are pics on the 1st page too of this thread. The body makes it look better than it is, ALL pans, quarters, rails, dutchman panel/sail panel, roof skin, taillight panel. You name it, it needs it.... Thinking of calling hlpag and telling them 6 grand LOL...... :smilielol:  Again anyone who would come and look at it if I was to agree on a price would get up here and be disappointed. Another crappy video. I will get a good one posted tomorrow. Cellphone sucks for being a 8 meg hi-def recorder.... Click the pic.

kikgas01

Everyone wants me to put a price on it.... 4,500. There the cat is out of the bag. That is what I have in it...... That is what I will take....... I KNOW I can get my money back if not more on ebay....

Here is a better one. Click on it.

Gonna go a head and list it for trade in the for sale area later, thanks.
