Oil pressure connection

The wire to my oil pressure sending unit has been cut.  Can I just use a female spade terminal to connect to a stock mechanical sending unit?

When you say stock sending unit, do you mean electrical?    If so you can use a female spade connector.

Thanks.  I do mean electrical.  Spade connectore proabably wouldn't do much to a mechanical unit.  I deserve a  :slap:
