I may have to attend a conference in Stockholm (with a possible stop in Copenhagen) in the near future and was wondering if any members that live near there can give me an idea of some of the sights that I should see. I have the usual tourist info stuff but was hoping for some insight from a fellow classic car enthusiast.

I used to live by Stockholm Wisconsin, does that count?...   :scratchchin:    :icon_smile_big:
"Liberalism is a disease that attacks one's ability to understand logic. Extreme manifestations include the willingness to continue down a path of self destruction, based solely on a delusional belief in a failed ideology."

Really Stuart? But did you see the first two movies!

Actually after reading about the proposed tunnel between Alaska and Russia I am hoping they get cracking on it so I can just drive over there. I wonder how many tanks of fuel it would take to get to Sweden?? :scratchchin:

Actually not looking forward to the nine dollar a gallon gas, might have to park the big block and pedal there instead, just have to plan two years in advance!

I am from neither place, but I lived in Denmark for two stints in the past few years and visited Sweden.  Both are really neat places and the people are great.

Maybe this isn't classic car, stuff, but it is classic moving and stationary stuff.    From my short visits, I recommend the Gustav Vasa, Gamla Stan, and Skansen. For Copenhagen, the national museum,  the ship museum in Roskilde, Helsignor, and Louisiana (art- and neat). That stated, I also remember seeing a lot of beautiful classic cars in Odense, Denmark in the summer time, so they are there.  The days should be getting longer so they may appear.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
