to be honest with you YES the 4 door did keep me from buying it. It was to much intrepid for me, but yes the new 2013s you can see 'some' of the lines of the old charger such as the rear valence window area, but the front grill is nothing like it. If they can bring back the hidden lights, full front mouth grill, then YES they have a charger back to its roots.

I can remember when the 2 door Charger concept came out. Everyone was pretty excited about it..... then look what they spit out...dont think anyone was happy over that one. The Chrysler Prez got A LOT of mail over that one

So the fact this new Charger is a 4 door**kept everyone from buying one?

Depends on what "everyone" means.  If you mean "everyone who hated it when it came out" then I'd say most of them/us yeah.  If you mean "everyone" everyone, well gee......they sold a few I think........

It actually caused me to go look at mustangs (almost bought one too) and then finally buy a new fake impala instead.  I've steered many a friend, co-worker and family member away from this car.  It even caused me to almsot get arrested once for threatening to bash the windows out of all the ones the local dealer had on the lot after the salesman suggested I trade my '69 in on one.....

I plan on buying one around the year 2020 when it actually becomes a charger, if it lives that long.  (hey, a man can dream can't he?)
