Help needed on different shades of woodgrain for console

How much variation was there with console woodgrain. I have two console tops that appear to both be '69 models. The one on the left is the one from my car and the 2nd is one I bought a couple years ago.
The color is a little lighter and the grain is different on the 2nd one. I think the '70 console woodgrain was lighter but, this one appears to be original and it has a '69 console shift boot attached.

Any ideas if this is correct for a '69?  The lighter woodgrain is in better shape than the dark one and I want to switch the inserts. I have matching console doors for both so that is not a problem.

Thanks

Sorry mods, I probably should have posted this in the interior section so feel free to move it.  :slap:

Most 69's Ive seen vary a lot.  I cant really tell you which one is "correct"  I'd leave it up to personal choice & which is in better shape IMHO

The one on my car is a repro overlay that is supposed to be for 69.  It looks lighter than both of those....although it might be the flash (see both pics)
