So what's the deal? Anyone planning to meet up prior to entry so we can all park together rather than be scattered to the four corners?

I want to meet up before hand so count me in Don  I hope to have my car home by months end so I can't put some miles on it and sort out any issues.

Okay so I'll just lob out an idea.

So the gates open at 8am. To park together we need to drive in together. They are dividing the traffic into 2 lanes (pre-registered get the fast lane) so this assumes anyone agreeing to meet up and park together is pre-registered.

What if we met at 8am at the Tim Hortons on the N.W. corner of HWY 7/8 and Hamilton Road (about 1km East of Moparfest)

Looks like we can set up a tent behind our cars.

I have RLH's cel number and I gave him mine.

Currently I plan on attending both days (driving to show and home each day), however aside from car trouble there is one possible issue that may affect whether or not I attend on Saturday. My oldest son (9) plays hockey through the summer on Saturday's and playoffs start the week prior to Moparfest...the format is one loss and you are out....so far his team has lost every regular season game (the instrument has yet to be invented to measure how bad their goalie is...first 7 games...93 goals against!!!). So if by some miracle they actually win the first playoff game on Aug 11 then I have a commitment to my son to see it through.

Any other ideas are welcome....

If you can read this thread then you are welcome....bring that sweet 1st Gen! I'm reluctant to be "the organizer" however if we do nothing then another year slips away where we all walk past eachother without knowing it

Sounds great! Don I hope your son loses but just because we want you there  I hope we can get a group together as I look forward to meeting some faces and tap in to your knowledge being a newbie Charger owner.

A suggestion, for the last few years we have come up with some other folks and parked in the section across from the show field.  It has worked out very well for multiple cars.
Plenty of parking and lots of room for tents behind the cars or more or less at the end of the isle by the trees.  As well as the trees keeping things cool.
As I said, just a suggestion.

I'll be there both days with my 74 this year, I plan on parking with a couple friend of mine I'm meeting there, but I will walk over and say hello for sure. Don's cars isn't hard to spot.

The losing streak remains intact for my sons team (man their goalie stinks) so I think it is a safe bet they will lose on August 11th ending their season.

Uh oh!....Starting to sound like an episode of one of those car shows off Speed Channel, you know, where you work fearishly through the nights trying to complete the car just in the nick of time for the deadline of the unavailing at the show!

....... Maybe those reality TV series aren't far off reality after all!
