I picked up a pair of M/T valve covers for my 68 (non-A/C 383 car) but the heater hoses are attached to my stock valve covers.  What are others doing to run heater hoses with aftermarket covers on a 68?  Running the bracket that attaches to the passenger fender (like a 69) or letting the hoses "hang" where they currently are?

I have mine on the fender since its a 69, but check your grommet size. I have a et of mt's that I can't get grommets for. Love the covers but can't run them

I didn't realize grommets might be hard to get for these.  Yikes!    ::)  Well, all else fails I'll sell them on eBay!

I don't know if there is an Ace hardware store where you live but at my local store they have a variety of grommets that are just like the ones that usually come with the covers.
