I can already hear the replies but here we go......

I will start by saying I know the right way is to physicly check and I will if it goes that far...

I have a set of 88cc eddy heads. I am debating putting them on my 383 to replace the stock iron heads. Now the kicker: the 383 is .030. I do not remember the part number of the pistons. I built it over 10 years ago. They are trw flat tops supposed to be 10:1, that's all I remember. There are no valve reliefs.  I run an old racer brown "510" cam. .510 lift. I need opinions as to if you think the eddys will clear..... my typical luck would be no. I hate to tear the engine apart just to find out that I can't use them and have to put it back together. I know the only way to knowis to put them on and check. I'm hoping that someone has put a383 together with the old trw's (that I can't even exactly identify) and say they have had succes or no, they don't clear.
