Turn signal comes on when stepping on brake

Hey,

I just took my charger out for the summer, and found that whenever I step on the brake the right turn signal comes on (solid, not blinking, front hood and rear, overrides actual turn signal). Any one know which wire would be crossed for this to happen?

Thank you,
Miller

I've been in construction and the oilfield for the last 25 years, but I recall defective turn signal switches, altered tailight harnesses, and feedback due to bad grounding causing phantom lighting gremlins.

check the lights grounds reseat the bulb sockets. One of them could have lost connection sitting for the winter and it just back feeds over to the other filiment in the bulb. If you turn on the parking lights and 4 way flashers and walk around the car the light with the issue will flash out of sync with the other lights if the bad ground is bad enough.
