Hopefully, they won't monitor your posts on here or they now know how much you would take for the car ;)

But I think its great that your car will get some exposure like that.

One of our Mopar Magic members had his car in a movie made in Louisiana and had that much more to brag about :icon_smile_cool:

I meant to ask you, did you get to meet Annabeth Gish?  I always thought she was gorgeous!  :2thumbs:

Congrats. I would certainly take the chance. It's too much fun to miss out on. I once took one of my cars to New York City for a commercial shoot. It was an awesome time. They paid me the same as you for the day plus the hotel for my wife and I, all food, fuel and other expenses. There was a scene where a hot actress had to parallel park my car. They put padding on the other cars to prevent damage. She did in fact back into one of the cars causing no damage. The actress was worried about doing damage and the crew made me back off because I was making her nervous. It could have been worse. They also did the parking with an SUV. They rammed it back and forth so hard during retakes, they ended up with three totalled new cars. I asked the producer about it and he said "they're only rentals". I wondered what the rental company thought.
My 1969 Charger. RIP......Rest in pieces.

I would jump at the chance  to have my car in a movie.  i don't understan being so nervouse.  I enjoy letting people kids mostly take pictures behind the wheel of both the daytona clone and Challenger convertible.  I have let several people drive my cars, people I know anyway.  All of my cars are very well insured and i feel always being worried about them would effect my enjoyment.  I know my Daytona is only a clone, but it is still valuable and should still be enjoyed and appreciated.  I think it would be ashame to lock them in the gagage for only my enjoyment.

Yeah the other day I was out with mine. It was parked in a lot and a jerk of a friend saw it and sped towards it. I said do me favor and smash it, it's insured for 50k.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I could have met the other cast members although I didn't know the other cast members if I fell over them.  The only star I knew of was Anthony Lapaglia as I have seen him in other movies and tv shows before.  Sorry, I'm not into Twilight or that other dinosaur show that was on that got cancelled.

As soon as I know more, I will post it so everyone can watch.  The sad thing is they made me take the AACA emblems off of the grille as well as any decals that were in my windshield.  I had no problem with removing the AACA national decal or other club affiliated decals (the dodgecharger.com static cling was nice and easy to remove and still reapply)   :2thumbs: but I was a little upset when I had to remove my repro 1970 inspection sticker.  Although, a quick $20 parted and I have another one on in its place already.   :2thumbs:  The only reason why I guess they had me remove the decals was so it could not stand out more if they ever had to reshoot something and then try to replicate the decals.   :shruggy:

Well, I had to let the actor drive it as it was part of the scene.  Otherwise, it wouldn't have been "his" car in the movie.  But everyone made sure that nothing would happen to it.  We even made sure he knew how to drive a stick shift.   :2thumbs:  All is good with car.  Well, pretty good I should say.  There is some stuff that I need to take care of before it can become show ready again.  There is a little mud splatter (probably hit a puddle in the city) on the lower portion of the car, not much though.  And the driver seat vinyl is dirty (nothing a little Meguiar's couldn't handle) and some pebbles and dirt on the floor of the car which came right up with a quick vacuum.
