69 charger jamb switch function

69 charger...courtesy lights come on when driver door opens.  passenger side does not have same effect.  shouldnt passenger door also turn on courtesy lights, too?  if so, i wonder if my 2 prong switch is bad.  also, any differences between 68 and 69 ignition switch other than diameter?

Passenger door should turn on lights and the 69 ignition switch was a one year only part.

i know 69 switch was a one year part...but any real diff besides diameter?  still plugs into same harness.

Its also much shorter but to answer your question, for some reason I am thinking the 69 has a different number and layout of terminals than the 68 one.
