Finally got the proper shoes on the beast :icon_smile_big:The old school look, American Racing Torq-Thrust. What a big difference from the stock wheels and rims. 235/60/15 in the front and 275/60/15 in the rear.Don't get me wrong, it looked great before, but as someone once remarked about the 14" tires under the Charger "It looks like an elephant on roller blades :hah: :hah: :hah:.
A big thanks to you Ron :2thumbs: if it wasn't for you, I would still be putting off the purchase of wheels and tires for the car and also for helping me get the new FireCore plug and go distributor up and running. It is a very nice piece that compliment the FireCore wires and coil already on the motor.

Like your choice of tires and rims. Also nice to see another 66 from our part of the world. Do you ever get to any of the shows in Quebec? Or are there any near Ottawa? I know theres one in Merrickville. Also, I go on the French Board "Amateurs de Beaux Char. Are you aware of any English discussion boards in Canada or specifically Ontario? My french isn't really good enough to allow me to fully participate in the ABC board, and there doesn't seem to be much English on that board.
Thanks,
Jim

Fronts are 7" and rears 8.5". Not sure what you mean by original reproduction, but they are the real thing "Torque Thrust" :coolgleamA:.

Hi Jim and welcome to the world of mopars :2thumbs:. You will find that the longer you have the Charger, the more you will learn about these great cars (sometimes you wont have a choice :P) Since I've installed these tires this spring, the car is getting a hell of a lot more attention now. Can't go anywhere without getting a minimum of  :2thumbs: :2thumbs: up, and I love it :icon_smile_cool:. There is a very good mopar show in Cornwall, Ontario around the end of June. It is called Mopar Magic. Don't know the exact date yet, but check this link to last year's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KulfviNXscA and it will give you an idea of what to expect.
Have fun.

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear in my question. I am assuming these wheels are brand new American racing wheels. What style Torque Thrust wheels are they, Torque Thrust D or Torque Thrust Original?
It is tough to see in the picture, do the rear wheels/tires appear to be closely centered in the wheelwell or are they biased towards the springs or wheel lip? I am looking at the Torque Thrust Originals for my '69.
Thanks!
