:o A local guy posted this pic on his craigslist ad but based on the banner along the track I assume it was taken in or near Bakersfield, Ca.

I did think of that but then someone probably would have told us if was able to get the front end four feet off the ground? :nana: Besides, he probably doesn't travel to California too often to drag race.

Would the tires be wrinkled if it was on its way back down?

oh snap dominic torretto at the track I thought he street races only?  :popcrn:

greenpigs

I think it is legit.

It looks like it was on its way up at launch, front suspension is fully extended and some space between wheelie bars and pavement. If it was on the bars then the tires would wrinkle I bet.

Nice Charger even if I got it wrong!

Anyways, he had a 499 with all the speed shit in a Summits catalog and it wasn't much quicker than the REAL DEAL Ron's 446

If we're talking about the same guy, his name is Jim, not Ron.  Only guy I know who lost weight (off himself) so his car would go faster.  Username is the "shift on 8" sign, what I call cat's butt   *

MOPAR OR NO CAR !!

Something doesn't look right about the rear wheel (driver's side) in the first pic. It looks like a wheel from an open wheeler or dragster (just my :Twocents: )

What could the driver possibly be looking at? All he can see is sky. He has to be thinking and praying for it to go straight. He would not even see if it was heading for the wall. Has to be a thrill like no other.

Ever driven a tractor? Right brake, left brake, right brake, left brake....Yes, looking at the horizon is a trip in itself. The 5.0 liter guys do this all the time when they set the suspension up albeit incorrewctly for a quick pass, but for nothing more than showing off. If your tires are in the air, your losing time. You lose more than that if you "Drop" it...

Ok, since I'm not too knowledgeable about drag racing I gotta ask what this thing is for? It's not the wheelie bar. Is it something to protect the diff?
