Heard that Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins died yesterday. He'd had some health issues recently, hadn't heard what the specifics were. Even though he wasn't a Mopar guy, he certainly was one of the greats. Hopefully he can engage in some heavenly match races with Ronnie Sox & Dick Landy! RIP, Grump.  :engel016:

And he did try to become Mopar for a little bit.  They snubbed him and I dont think he ever got over the hurt, althlough when then allowed him to help rewrite the Pro Stock rules he certainly got his revenge.
He was a great driver and a brilliant tuner.  RIP Grump.

Since he was instrumental in bringing about that Pro Stock fiasco known a "factoring" he's definitely not on my list of favorite drag racers.
