My 1970 `Cuda 440-6 has rarely been driven for the last 4+ years due to a variety of mechanical issues.    About a month ago I decided to send the `Cuda out for a transmission rebuild and other mechanical repairs and cosmetic touch-ups...

Ol' Yeller returned home today...      Improvements will continue...  as time and funding permits...

Hopefully my new Metro WHITE reproduction interior "door" panels will be in by this coming weekend...  :drool5:

Good to see it back up and running.

Thanks Cooter!  The original engine is getting a little tired... the compression test was not up to Spec...  I will have it rebuilt within a year or two...

Sweet car!!  :drool5:

A very good friend of mine also has a Lemon Twist 440-6 'Cuda, no vinyl with a black interior. 4-spd, hockey delete, silver shaker. Drool material.  :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

Thanks everyone.... it's great to have Ol' Yeller back on the road!  Already planning the new "pure stock" certifiable rebuild of the number's matching engine, as well as many other improvements.  I like the new transmission and torque converter!  Back in the 1970s the previous owner had a rebuilt non-HP transmission & 12 inch low stall converter installed, so it has been long overdue for an upgrade back to an 11 inch (10.75) converter... and the transmission was rebuilt with $1065 worth of A&A Transmission goodies...
