I was told that spindles off a 84 diplomat will fit on a charger ,just have to use the charger ball joint. It turns out that I got a old diplomat in the scrap yard and i went to take a quick look and it seems like it is possible.Has anyone heard of this or tried it before :icon_smile_question:

Thats good to know, but if all I have to do is go out back and take the ones off the car out back that would be a bonus,I would have to look or spend more money..noticed how i said more money lol.

The Diplomat brakes will work just fine, the spindles are a little taller than the originals and this causes heartburn with some folks but the swap has been done countless times with good results.

Cool I'll go ahead and do that then,as far as giveing the car a wheel aligment with the spindles being a little taller I'll take the chance.I got a wheel alg machine here so I'll be able to play with it.I never lined up a charger before but I've lined up cars for 20 yrs.I hope it goes well and I'll take pics of the process and put them up .Thanks for your replies.
