Thermoquad help

So i have a thermoquad on my 78 chrysler new yorker. ANNNND leanburn. it works alright, and at the moment I just don't have the funding to swap carbs and do the lean burn exorcism. The problem is the secondaries do not open. I pulled the carb off, and about 1/3 of the time I go through the throttle the secondaries will open. Otherwise they dont even twitch. I'm guessing its a linkage issue, but cannot for the life of me see where the issue is. Does anybody have any insight for me on taking care of this?
