Does anyone make new headliner bows for a 68 Charger?

bull

Don't think so. I did a search a while back and all I could find was used stuff.

Do you not have any or are yours just ugly? I was going to get all involved with mine and media blast and paint or plate them until the guy doing my interior told me not to mess with them much because the ends are color-coded for location. So basically all I did to prep them was pull any residual fabric off them from the old headliner and then brush on some SEM Rust Seal.

That stinks. Well, you can keep an eye on Ebay for a used set, or perhaps your local craigslist. Or you can try Jim's cut-to-fit universal kit: http://www.jimsautoparts.com/headliners.htm but that might be a pain, not sure.

I just called my local Charger pirate and he doesn't have any right now.

Mine was rusty and pitted so I primed and then spatter coated it. Looks just like the pillars now. :2thumbs:

I have yet to find an example of someone that used the universals at Jim's.  He'd be money ahead to show an example on his website so we can see if it is going to work before ordering.

Maybe there's more to these bows than I know but it sure seems like this would be a pretty simple thing to reproduce. Strange that none of these reproduction companies have done them.

I may have some laying in my 68....

If I had a good photo of some with some dimensions I could make my own.
