Last '74 Mr. Norms 440 Charger?

I found this ad and was just curious as to whether this car was really worth it's asking price. I didn't see any documentation to prove it's history. Anyone know this car?

They forgot about the radio antenna. No tach, or 150 speedo? No hood blackout. Wrong wheels, ugly steering wheel. 440 magnum emblems looks wrong. Gauge cluster doesn't look restored. Is that the correct shifter?

Not that any of this stuff can't be easily addressed, it's just not going to bring the asking price.

By all means, a very nicely restored car. Do the '71 Hemi 4 speed cars even fetch that kind of coin?

Those guys are nuts but I guess after seeing what a Norms Challenger and a Nickey Camaro brought at auction in Arizona this past January they think they are on the money.

and these are the reasons I don't want to buy a repro phasered stripe:

-bad script shape

-incorrect color scheme ( the borderline must be black )

-and will need to look closelly the phasered pattern

For a car that is supposed to be something special, I'd expect an accurate restoration to fetch top dollar.

1) The 120 speedometer is correct for 74. The days of the 150 speedo was over.
2) The "ugly" steering wheel is the stock 74 steering wheel.
3) I don't see tach or Perf Hood Paint on the tag.  

I do wonder why some simple things are not correct, like the red "Magnum" on the hood emblems, and missing the decal on the correct single snorkel air cleaner, and as mentioned lack of antenna. And "believed" to be the last 440 HP car? They still built thousands of Chargers and probably a few Roadrunners/GTXs after this one rolled off the line. Can't be proved.

I'd say it's sellable at about 1/5th of the crazy asking price.

Yeah, that word "believed" lets them off the hook to anyone who challenges the claim and doesn't even get noticed by those who dive in without thinking.

I noticed the fender tag was pretty light on options, but I'm not too familiar with the 3rd gen tags anymore. Technically, it's a pretty correct resto.

I was thinking $25k.

I'm certainly no expert but I thought this car lacked allot of info to back such a claim. Just didn't seem right. i knew that this was the place to get the low down. Even 25 seems too much for this particular car. Thanks guys.
