Rear10" drum brake shoes for an early '68

FYI. While doing the rear brakes on my '68, which apparently is an early 1968, I discovered that it takes 1967 rear shoes.
The difference is the secondary (shorter) shoe tension spring  goes into round hole closer to the top pivot of the brake assembly. Later models used a longer spring and the hole is in the same location as the primary shoe's spring.
Hope this helps someone. I found out the hard way.

Anyone else notice this?  I am preparing to put my rear brakes together tomorrow.  I discovered I have an "early" 68 while looking for a fuel filler neck seal....

Got all the parts on the way home from work this evening...

Should I start the  :brickwall: now?   :icon_smile_dissapprove:
