Wow saw this listed locally today.

The ad outight says its a rebody with a real Vin/Tag and wants $50k.

Federal offense....

Judging from the site it looks like that car probably isn't in this country, federal offense probably isn't an issue.

how did you know it was a rebody, all i see is french

Marked with asteriks in the section at the bottom headed "description generale"  it says rebody twice.

And swapping tags is no more legal in Canada than the US.

Yuppers. There are quite a few re-bodies here in quebec. I know of a couple Hemi cars off hand.....
