Well I got my rear axle almost ready to go back on.  Now I need to decide on leaf springs Espo or XHD.  My 1971 charger was originally a 383 car but now a 440.  I have already got a couple of quotes from Espo for their leaf springs.  "The original 440 springs are 5 and a half on one side  and 5 and two
> halves on the other side.  These are  $250/pr.  The heavy duty springs  is 6 full-leaves both  sides.  They are $240/pr."
What would be the better choice XHD duty or the ones from Espo.  I know I will be going with 15inch wheels when it is all said and done.  I will also be running fairly wide tires in the rear.  I'm not looking to have the rearend jacked way up in the air but a little bit won't bother me.  Plan on a stroker build and it is a 4 speed if that helps any.   As far as drag racing occasionally maybe I do want to buy once and be done with it none of this just get it on the road then upgrade later.
Also does the flat on the u-bolts really matter?
                Thanks for any help.

Espo.  I would go with Eaton personally but Espo would be second choice and the Mopar XHD last.

I agree , the Mopar springs will sag quickly , they would be my last choice

Going to make my order from Espo Monday.  Going to six springs on each side axle is an 8.75.  So what length of u-bolts do I need?
