Could it be because in order to get licensing from Chrylser they were forced to go with a nameplate being sold currently?  Does it work that way?

I had suggested that before with an older discussion on the full aftermarket bodies from Dynacorn. Makes sense to me.   :Twocents:

May sense to me. I always thought if Dynacorn was gonna repop a  Mopar body, it would be a '71 Cuda.
