I cannot go into any details about this, but I have a question:  Is there a way that a civilian can get information regarding the deployment of a particular person?  We know that the ship he is assigned to is deployed, but cannot prove that he is on it.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can say a friend of mine's mother always seemed to find what ship he was on and where he was stationed (even when he didn't want her to) - She used the family forums associated with the navy to find her little O2 and to make sure he stayed safe blah blah blah.  She blew her stack when she found out he was actually EOD and not a cook.  :smilielol:

To answer your question - there are probably ways -
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

Really depends on what you're relationship is with this person. Family members often use the Red Cross to contact sailors who have ignored there families for whatever reason. Once I had an ex-wife get in contact with the CO of a ship I was assigned to, even though I hadn't spoken to her in two years and we were not in our home port. The police can always contact whoever they are looking for on a ship through the CO, XO or CMC. There is always the ship's ombudsmen too. The ombudsmen is usually the wife of a sailor assigned to a particular ship with contacts to the CO, XO, CMC and Chaplain.

Now that I've told you all of this, I'll probably have to kill you.  :nana:

Thanks,  Please don't kill me though.  This is a sensitive issue and in hindsight, I should not have posted anything on here.  Thanks
