Hey guys -

Recently Youtube launched a channel called DRIVE - "http://www.youtube.com/DRIVE" that covers just about every aspect of the automotive culture. The channel is made up of about 7 different car related shows that include everything from reviews of high-end exotics and full-on tuner cars to race reviews, road trips and celebrity interviews. Plus there are a bunch of new shows being added. We launched in the beginning of Jan. and thus far have over 26,000 subscribers and over 1-million views.

Anyway, I have a show that is premiering 2nd quarter called "BIG MUSCLE" that will cover everything muscle car related. From hot-rods and gassers, to resto-mods and pro-touring cars, to rat-rods and lowriders - in short, if it was built before 1985 it'll be on my show, if it qualifies.

Anyway, I'm looking for a FULL-ON pro-touring car (1968-1970 Charger) that I can use as part of a feature with two other Chargers. I'm looking for something that goes above and beyond my cars. Think modern 6.1 HEMI, coil over suspension, etc... the caveat though is, IT MUST BE DRIVEN. I will not feature show ponies on this show unless they're used. Anyway, if you have one and or know of anyone who has one that wants to have their car featured in some very company, please let me know. We're queuing up our production schedule to start shooting in mid-February.

You can contact me via PM or email me at "drivebigmuscle@gmail.com". I promise, I WILL get back to you.

Thanks - Mike  :2thumbs:

Above and beyond your cars? Are you serious? Does such a vehicle even exist? Is it even physically possible?

I think what Mike is looking for is a car that does not use a factory based suspension, massive brakes, etc etc - where as his cars are pretty mild when it comes to suspension set up (although his 'mild' combo flat out works) - he's probably looking for XV or RMS suspension cars -

Mike - there was a guy here in CA who has a gunmetal 69 with the biohazard symbol in the tail stripe - He's on this board somewhere - not sure his name but he's the only one i can think of who *might* have something you're willing to work with (not sure what suspension he uses).    :2thumbs:

I wouldn't say that Mike William's car (Biohazard) is in the Pro-touring class; it is more autocross to me. He does drive it (he drove it from the L.A. area to MATS last year) but he told me that the fiberglass seats really took a bite out of his derriere. But you never know...maybe it would work for your article. I did get to ride with him in it at MATS at the Hotchkis course - it corners extremely well.  ;)

Rolling is right - my cars are both done, and yes they're are proven combination that works well, however I would almost downgrade them to resto-mod status after I saw what I was competing against when I ran the Ultimate Street Car Challenge at SEMA this year. There are those out there who are taking these cars to the next level, however many of them are still under construction and honestly, that's what I'm looking for.

Pete - (autodynamics) Charger is almost there, but I'm looking for that one more notch in the suspension department. So, again, if anyone's got one, or knows of one, LET ME KNOW PRONTO!!

There has got to be someone in CA whose got one!

Mike, my car would be available.  I was hoping to meet you on the pro-touring cruise to Stinson beach, but the rain stopped that.  I do drive my car and took it on the Big Willow track at last years Spring Fling Festival.  I'm about to put in the new motor and gearvendor, but I can wait if needed.  The motor in it now sat for a few years and leaks a little from PS, but can change that as well if going on a track.  I put that in because motor wasn't done for last years MATS and I really wanted to go.  It has 563 HP so it's no slouch.  No modern stuff, but all aftermarket and some home fabbed.  See here

The seats are factory, but suck on the road coarse and autoX, but I have a set of race seats I can put in if going to a track.   BTW I live about 20 minutes from ThunderHill in Willows, CA

Let me know if that would work for you.  I agree with the OIUSCC cars being at a different level.  My next car will be something that will compete with them in the form of a cuda.  At the Goodguys show in Pleasanton, I was about 3 seconds off of the cars that did the challenge, but traction was a factor for my pig. Mike

Too bad it's only 68-70 Chargers. My 72 is right up your alley Mike.

@v21hemicharger  where did you get your brakes setup?

I started with Wilwood's 12.19 kit.  Used the rears as is bit used US Brake calipers as a direct fit.  Fronts I used the Wilwood hubs and added 14" 1.25" rotors from Coleman and made my own brackets for the US Brake calipers.

Before I scrolled down, I was thinking about Kenny's cars. Would be awesome to see one of those cars on the show.
