Im looking for a recommendation on back-spacing for the front wheels on my '69. I'd like to run a 15x8 with a 275 tire and I wanted to ask as Im not sure on the back spacing to order. For the rear Im thinking 15x10 with 5" b.s. and a 325 tire. Thanks for any help.

With a 8" wheel, you'll probably want to find one with at least 4.5" backspace. The max you could go would 4.75" and that puts the rim REALLY close to the upper ball joint/control arm. 5" backspace will contact the control arm and not work.  Anything less than 4.5 will probably put the tire into the fender lip. 275 is a bunch of tire for the front end.

Thank you for the input. My tires are only available in a few sizes so I need to run the fatties.
