They used to put paneling in vans too back in the day.

Haha, I never even noticed that part.  I took one look at the pics of the woodgrain and left quickly.  Its unfortunate.

Hmm, My first Charger had custom made door panels & a package tray that were made from pine & I thought it looked cool.  :lol:

The previous owner made them & did a nice job. He joined some boards side by side, then ran it through a surface planer until they were almost as thin as a stock door panel. He did the same thing for the rear package tray & had stained & varnished all of it. It didn't match the dash wood grain, but it looked decent. This was back in the early 80's before replacement panels were available.

I still like the idea of doing it, too.  :smilielol: :smilielol:


The ebay one looks like plywood & a bit tacky.  :o
