I don't think the moderator should be so "quick fingered" at moving posts. The Charger Discussion (aka "Anything Charger") area is great to get some quick answers. I agree to move posts to appropriate categories but at least let the post stay for 48 hours or so before moving. Most people don't visit obscure areas that often so getting the answers could take much longer. Any thoughts from others?

My post recently got moved - no offense taken --- the thing is these Mods don't just manage this site - they have lives and can't account for when every single post was posted and all that - when they see it and it doesn't belong they move it. I think others on this board need to look around beyond just the Charger section    :smilielol:
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

Exactly.  There is no reason to clog up one section of the board with questions that (more than likely) have been already answered in the appropriate section of the site.  If a "quick" answer is needed, might I suggest trying the Search feature of the site?  Many times a question has been asked & answered already.

...and in this case.....moving on....

The site is organized the way it is for a reason. It's rude and disrespectful to others to post in the wrong section or to post multiple times in different sections and it clutters up the board. For someone who may be searching for the answer to the same question they can't find it if they're looking in the correct spot so it becomes a perpetual problem. As I've mentioned in the past, many of our "experts" hang out in the Tech sections so it's often a lot faster to ask there to begin with.

The other moderators are nicer than I am - I'll move it without leaving behind the "Moved to" message so you have to search for your own thread. If you're a repeat offender I'll start deleting them without warning. I don't personally have time to check the date stamp on every thread so I tackle stuff as I see it. I know there are threads that get their answer before being moved as well.
