Forgive me if this has come up before (and I have this feeling it has) but how much actual screen time does the Charger get through the Blade trinity?

A383Wing

not a whole lot if I remember.....it's been a long time since I saw the show

Bryan

Drache

If I remember correctly just the start of the movie?  :shruggy:
Dart
Racing
Ass
Chasing
Hellion
Extraordinaire

Troy

It's in a pretty long sequence at the beginning but that's it.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I want that hood!  What is that-the 6 Pak scoop grafted onto a Charger hood?

Lennard

Fred

Not nearly long enough for my liking. I watched them all in great anticipation............needless to say I was disappointed.
Have to say though that once I resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going to see much of the charger................I got on with enjoying the movies.

Yes, that is a six pack scoop.

That's a very good looking hood and I would go with it if I needed more clearance. I've only got 11mm to spare so can't fit the hood insulation. Food for thought.

I have a fiberglass hood like that for my '68 as I am going to make it a blade lookalike.

wheels and all?

Ghoste

Does it only appear in the first one then, not the second two?

myk

It's in the 2nd and 3rd movies for sure.  The best appearance it ever had was in the 3rd movie with the chase scene.  I practically bought the movie just to watch that scene repeatedly...

My favorite part is when he hits the windshield wiper switch to clear away vampire ash, lol.

In the 2nd movie I think they show it driving back to their hideout, and then again when that guy from Boondock Saints is working on it...

Fred

If I remember correctly (been a while since I last watched them) it appears in all of them but very briefly. But slightly longer in #3
IF YOU BLINK YOU'LL PROBABLY MISS IT!

No, I'm going to use these Centerline Convo Pros since I already have them.(they were under my '69 when I bought it)

Fred

I like the convo pros..................they look great. That's going to be a mean looking ride!  :2thumbs:

That's what I want to know too, seeing how my car's headed off for body and paint in a few days.  I think it's a discontinued piece, but I heard that VFN can customize the stock flat Charger hood by grafting the 6 Pak scoop on top of it...

Yes, and I bought the hood from a guy that fiberglassed the scoop on a fiberglass hood himself.

I had one of those hoods on my Charger when I bought it.  It's hanging on my garage wall now.  Still not sure if it will ever go back on or not.  If it does go back on, I think it would look better with hood pins but  :shruggy:  Here is a pic from 2006.

The blade charger is the most sinister movie charger out there. IMO. I think that is where my infatuation with chargers comes from.
