the rarity its more rare than any charger out there...think about it.

Seriously!....I don't understand where you come up with this? Rare doesn't always equal hi value. There has to be a desire by many to want to own it before the price rises. And the link you posted to an eBay auction on a Shelby Charger doesn't show a $100k car so why make such a ridiculous title for your post?

Might be rare possibly due to it's mileage and excellent original condition.    It is a "collectible"? Who knows? For some maybe.
No where do I see the term "rare" or "$100K" in his auction.

I see a low mileage original '80's Shelby Charger with a starting bid of $4500. What's the point of this thread?

Those cars are ugly as sin, I had a 85 Daytona 2.2 Turbo 5 speed and those little 2.2's were great motors I never blew one up and I ran all the 2.2's I ever owned hard plus they sipped the fuel!!!! Last Daytona 2.2 5 speed I had I traded it for a complete 440 6 pack setup!!! (Damn been over 10 years ago!!)

They had two doors and were available with manual transmissions. That makes them more of a true Charger than the LX-based Diplomats. I prefer the Daytona, personally. I can't get under the roof of the Charger.

Haters gonna hate. I would love to have that Shelby Charger. It would look great parked next to my '83. It might have been a four cylinder, but it could generally outrun an early '80s Camaro and easily out handle an early '80s Mustang.

I have those exact same front seats in my '69 Charger and I can't stand them! I long for the day that I finally find a set of orignal buckets so I can get rid of those '84 Shelby Charger seats.

Original 69 seats are no better. Get 70 and up highbacks. I think the leather buckets from my 85 Turbo Z are the most comfortable buckets ever produced.
