Last time I talked to him on Facebook, he said he's not coming here anymore. I got the understanding that someone pissed him off. But that's my interpretation.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

:shruggy: :shruggy: Same here. I'm on F/B but don't spend very much time on it. I'll have to friend you also so I can see what I'm missing on the Mopar side.

As far as Brock I checked his posts and noticed that he posted regularly up to the first of October last year. Then tailed off from there. Maybe F/B is now his primary home.

I've been spending some time at forbbodiesonly. Great bunch of guys like here, except for a new member. Does anyone remember "Dick Head" :slap: :slap:

I talk with Dave on a regular basis...on Facebook.
As far as I know, nobody in particular has pissed him off.

The thing is, once you've been on this site for awhile, you see the same things over and over again. You respond to topics with enthusiam the first time, but after you see it repeatedly, well, your enthusiam wanes a touch.

Facebook is a lot of different things to a lot of diffferent people. For Dave, it's a sounding board to a broader spectrum of people, not just car guys.

FYI: There's DodgeCharger.com group on Facebook!

Brock Samson

Thanks for the concern to those that still care.  :scratchchin: It was a great ten years or so here and on the Orig. D-C.com site.  :2thumbs:
I'm doing general lee fine and yes FB with it's wider range and circle of friends and subjects has syphoned off most of my time on-line as of late, as we had discussed this last Yr. when Troy started up the FB version of this site that no one visits. BTW: German I've de-friended at least 3/4 of the contacts and quit 20 odd groups i frequented.
I started a "1969 Dodge Charger" group over there on FB and I'm on several other Mopar Groups as well, "Owners", (MOPAR and Charger) DriveSRT, Challenger, Wing Cars, 1970 Charger, a couple different '68 groups incl. Furby's ( Lord Help Me) which i got kicked from   the Ramcharger's group, Brenda Priddy Spy Photography, and probably another half dozen Auto and Aviation groups.
Since my forced retirement in '07 my interests have gone far more in a History and Photography direction, and less into the cars, and the local music scene - safe to say that's kinda' been covered.  :shruggy:
On FB I frequent several San Francisco History groups and being a native I find them and the old friends I've found there extreamly compelling. Doing lots of history tours behind the scenes one might not normally have any Opp. to do.
The other thing is that having been retired about five years short of my target date (which was July of this Yr.) seriously screwed up the works in terms of economics. But by selling the RR and the RV and curtailing my spending I've managed to hold my head above water, though just barely...  funny how a little thing like the extinction of print journalism, being on the wrong side of fifty and the desired "local" ethnicity can dry up the employment opportunities.  :flame:
I left around the time Richard Cranium was hitting his stride and some nasty political comments were being made.
I see a large crop of new names here and check in every few weeks to see the photos of folks Chargers on Johnny's  post up thread. But for me It's like when you go to your Old Favorite watering hole after an absence and find it populated by newbie hipsters, 'n besides, no one's on chat here anymore. I loved our Thursday night chat meetups back in the '00s.
And a great number of them guyz (and Gals) aren't here anymore either.  :shruggy:  :P

Nacho-RT74

pssst hey... Cranium has been banned Dave!

even I have been around FB and IN FACT I have a Venezuelan classic mopar group there, actually I don't like the reality show it happens at FB, sorry.

talking about the "reallity show"... I already have had lot of problems since I took "seriouslly" the facebook. The good side is, lot of ppl who was calling friends has been maskef off now.

Sorry, preffer this board
