the yellow hemi one was a friend of mine....he just traded it for a 70 383 cuda conv 4 speed....and alot of cash.....cool story on the car

Talk about a downgrade ;-)
:icon_smile_big:
thats what I told him......hes an A body guy.....he has the "holy grail" of cudas in his collection among other cudas/challengers/lambos/gt40 and so on..the b body just didnt fit in the colletion :rotz:
a real gt40? wow then he must have enough money to not trade cars, just buy more...
not the old ones...the newer ones....he has two a black and a white one....I will get pics of some of his cars the next time I go to his house....I know how he is about his cars so I know the charger was top notch....it was at his place in AZ so I never got to see it in person......if anyone wants any info on it let me know and I will get it for you.....but for 300K I dont see that happening.

aha, well the "old" ones are Gt40 and the new ones are just "Ford GT", theyre not called Gt40. I heard some company owns the rights to the gt40 name, some replica maker I suppose.

I can understand the trade. a convertible 70-71 barracuda gets my heart pumping every time I see one. doesnt matter if its 225 powered, it just has the lines..

Wasn't the HEMI car the one restored by Totally Auto a few years back?  :scratchchin:
I remember seeing it on display under the grandstand at Carlisle.
The one totally auto restored was a RT/SE car.
