I know some people wanted to know when I made it home safe from the desert and here I am. Enjoying a beer playing with my daughter and enjoying the company of my wife. Tomorrow I shall post pictures of the charger. So everyone can see what I am working with. I wish I could have a beer with everyone of you but this is the best I could do.

One thing I think EVERY American needs to do is go to the airport when soldiers come home from a tour in war.   An experience like this is one of the most intense feelings I have every had.   Your body goes through so many emotions.... My spine is tingling just thinking about it.   I have had the privledge to see this two different times.  Very moving....

WELCOME HOME! :2thumbs:

You guys are the real heroes!I hate when the media call footballers(soccer to you guys  :slap:)and the recent times celebreties heroes when every country who fights for a better future has sons and daughters willing to risk there life for the rest of the word! How can they call sportsmen heroes? The whole society is fu.ked up when people wanna be like Backhem and such because he is a hero!Sure they are talented people but no heroes what so ever!Hero is who brings up his/her kids on their own and they give them the best they can!Who sacrifices or gives his life trying to get this place a better one!

Good you made it and i wish everyone would made it back home to their families! :2thumbs:

Fred

Hey Peter you hit the nail on the head............Sportsmen heroes? NO WAY!! that's what I can never understand either. Kicking a ball around doesn't make you a hero in my book. My wife gets so annoyed when she hears  these people being called heroes and always says to me....... doesn't anybody know the definition of that word anymore?
The real AND ONLY heroes in my eyes are the brave women and men who do a great service to their country (and the world).
Ive said it before and I'll say it again.....................I take my hat off to them.
They are the definition of hero.

Thanks everyone. Sorry I haven't gotten the pics of the charger up. The weather hasn't been the best. But I did find out that the entire floor pan is rusted away. The drivers seat is sitting on the driveway while still bolted to the carpet inside the car. I'm not worried about it though. I may have gotten screwed but I think I can bounce back from it. Also I do agree with you guys about how aggravating it is for sportsmen to be called heroes. And of course when they live beyond their means, they cry and want more money. How about us as the military? If we want more money we keep it to ourselves and make sure that everyday they can wake up and play their overpaid sport.

You guys are awesome. I look forward to reading everything all of you post everyday. But now I have come to the point in my life that I have a few extra bucks for the charger and need to know how to put a lot of hp in the engine without doing anything crazy. Not really any machine shops around here to do engine work so I need more plug and play.

I wish it was enough for a Hemi crate. But it is enough for new floor pans and most of the engine rebuilding. Unless you guys know of a place that sells them for a reasonable price. And by reasonable I mean something that isn't worth more than all my assets.

Welcome home, thanks for your service.

Inked_Ghandi

I decided if it came down to it, I will put all of my money into the engine and just use plywood as the floor pans.  What I would do to drive that car and show all those little boys and girls who drive dumb new cars what the real deal is.

So it seems no engine work shall be done for me. I must spend the cash I had for that to replace the entire front suspension. Kind of bummed but at least I can get better suspension and my wife won't bitch at me for it.
