rally style hood for charger?

does anyone know who sells a rally style hood for a 68 charger,it kinda looks like a hood for a challenger.someone on ebay has a 68 charger that is brown with a black hood with scoops that resembles a challenger hood to me on it and I'm interested in a hood like it tx

I believe this is the hood you're talking about(ebay pic).  I think I have another picture of a similar one, probably the same car though.  I will look for that one.  The auction just says custom fiberglas hood.  I would guess not mass produced at all.  It does look pretty cool.  



EDIT:  I found the other pic, different car.  It's a 69.  The hood looks similar, maybe it was available somewhere. Although, it is hard to tell from the pic, it doesn't appear to have a center ridge down the middle.  I am pretty sure I grabbed that pic from an old thread here, it may have some info., if someone can find it.

Hey big, yep!. That's the hood. Thx for finding it,I think both hoods look pretty cool. I'm gonna look at the link for the hood.I wouldn't mind finding the one with the center ridge to keep the original look...man those are cool , makes the car more aggressive lookin.if I find it I will try to post it thx!!

are hood scoops functional?

That depends on your definition of functional.  The auction claims functional,  but it just has a standard 3" high, round air cleaner.  I guess he means they are opened up to get air, but it doesn't show any kind of ram air setup.  The hood vendor makes no mention of functionality.

Well what I found out is that the company is in canada,I called there phone number and left a message about the hood,so I guess I will wait and see what's up.if anyone knows where to get this hood please post it up thx
