Next Roadblock: Tranny doesn't seem to want to shift into 2nd...

Well, I was super happy to get the Charger running good. Now it doesn't seem to want to shift into 2nd. No clue what is going on with it.

Tranny fluid is full. Is this a sign of a transmission rebuild or is there any kind of solution? Car sat for about year without being driven.

Goes into park fine. Reverses fine. Idles in Neutral. Drive works too as well as 2 and 1. However put it in D and it never seems to get out of 1st.

Suggestions? Solutions? Thanks everyone!

Could be a TP (kickdown) linkage problem. Temporarily disconnect the linkage at the transmission lever and take it for a drive; if it will upshift with the linkage disconnected the problem is in the linkage.
