At first I was like "why would you put a '70 style side scoop on a '69? That's just dumb."  And then...

Overall, it's a pretty cool concept, even if I don't much care for the paint scheme choice.

Also, has anyone actually used Paintshop 101?  I've looked at their site, and they look pretty reputable and not terribly expensive for a resto shop, but it's always best to get recommendations from real people.

Cool concept  :2thumbs:

That's real different with the turbos.. not sure how it'll work out in real life but it's probably a lot better than the turbos underneath the rear axle like some other setups that get sold.

IMO Turbo Car's work best when unit is in front of car for obvious reason's. That concept looks cool although not sure if it would work correctly. Turbo cars work so well, clean and quiet. Amazing.

I was wondering the same thing ...being so far back..it has to push that air all the way to the front of the car...wouldnt that kill the charge before it got there??? very cool car though

That is going to be one badass Bee when its done!  Wasn't there a kit out there to install turbos near the rear like that in a current generation Charger?

That thing looks cool. Looking forward to the finished product.

That's a long run for charged air. I wonder how much boost the turbos will build.

yep it'd be a plumbing nightmare, and you have to get the exhaust up in there as well. i wonder how they'd go with them getting hot? (hopefully no rear seat passengers).

Chryco Psycho

you would get a cooler exhaust charge back there so the pressure could be less , the turbos can be spooled up faster with pulses created from sharp bends in the exhaust rather than smooth flow too .
The oiling has always been tough to comprehend with remote turbos , easy to get the pressurized oil to the turbo but I have always seen oversized returns to get the foamed oil back into the oil pan easily , not sure how to handle that being that far from the engine
