LOL @ Earl Scheib    Friend of mine had his car painted at a Maaco once - same idea on paint/quality... Anyways, while washing the new red paint job, it flaked in sheets 

they painted right over the front parking lights.  I guess the rule was below the bumper: not my problem lol.  I gotta say other than that, the paint job itself was pretty good. no runs, and where my bodywork didn't totally suck, it looked good lol.

The high up back end was definitely a cool look until you got to drive a car set up like that. Hitting the brakes & making a sharp turn would double your heart rate!   

And what about traveling along the highway that was concrete pavement, rolling on bias ply tires & having the joint in the pavement between lanes grab your tire & send you left & right?
