B body swaps??

I know this sounds ignorant, but I have a'72 charger SE that may be beyond salvage (rust). Can I use any of the other B bodied cars (e.g., Roadrunner, Satellite, etc.) as a base for the Charger and just swap hood, trunk deck, doors, etc.?

Body parts isn't going to happen and I doubt many other parts would fit correctly if at all.
