Mark, man, sorry to hear you're getting the frozen end of the stick.  :icon_smile_dead:

That's one thing I don't miss at all about living in Alaska.  :yesnod:

Spent 22.5 yrs living there, so I think I can safely say this, winter in Alaska blows!  :icon_smile_dissapprove:

Well, it might be fun for those into winter sports, but that was never my forte'. :-X

I'd especially hate it now that I have the Chargers.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Eventually I'd love to get to the point that I could spend the summers up on our 40 acres outside of Homer (back behind Diamond Ridge), and then get out of there once the rain hits in late August/early September.

The northwest is great for the summers to, but I'd run into the same problems in the winter (just rain instead of snow).

I know I b*tch about the summer heat (and the spring and fall heat!  ;)) here in southeast Texas, but at least I can drive my Chargers year round! :2thumbs:

Dude why don't you shut up and find something worth while to post about instead of adding your two cents to everything! If i had snow all over my car like that i would be ranting too! I don't post on here a lot but just from when i do come on here you never have anything interesting to say.

Johnny, did you live here in the mid to late 80's? If so, do you recall a lot of 2nd gen chargers in Fairview next to Merrill Field off of 12th street? If so, that was me. I had about 6 or so at won time as I also bought and sold them for a while til we moved to Washington. I moved back here for family reasons back in 93' again. Now we're looking to get a house in Wa. again finally. After getting done the other day from snow blowing an shoveling, man I'm gonna give them away when we move outta here, haha. Never been to Texas myself, I know its hot and dry(dusty) down there in certain parts.

Ha!

What a small world!

I swear that rings a bell.

My Dad was restationed @ Elmendorf in "85 and we were on the base till "88 when we moved out to South Anchorage.

Moved back to that side of town in "98 though.

There was a guy living just off of Boniface that had about three "70/"71 'Cudas over there (all Limelight) when I was there.

Sadly I think he had legal troubles and sold them all off by "00 when I moved to Oregon.

I almost ended up with a "68 Charger from that old brake shop on the corner of C and Norther Lights (the shop is long gone now, but had a huge yard of cars back in "95).

Unfortunately I got screwed by an ex-friend, but that's another story.

Last I heard that Charger headed out to Wasilla (bright red, white interior, 440 with a Mallory ignition setup -used a push button start setup too).

Maybe you've heard of it.

Man, it was 8.4 degrees at my house yesterday morning (Eagle Mountain)...11.1 the day before. Fraking freezing! I guess I shouldn't complain too much though, because at least it's not in the negatives. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hey R2, don't get used to the "good" Kentucky weather. It's very unusual for us to not have any snow. It's also warmer than usual this year. I have seen my share of 12" snowfalls and major ice storms. Just give it time. Unfortunately the weather here can change on a dime.

Old Moparz

It hasn't been as cold as normal in New York this winter, but I still ain't working on anything in the garage without heat. Yesterday & today the temperatures actually seemed closer to what is normal. We went from very cold to freezing your butt off overnight.

Cheez-n-rice Grant! Eagle Mountain aint that far from Salt Lick. I was merely posting the highs during the 1 or 2 hours worth of daylight we've been getting lately. don't call asking for help until around May! ;)

You guys don't know what ruff is. I walked out of my back yard yesterday Picked two oranges off my tree. (That I planted about 20 years ago). Went to work in the shop and it got up to 69 degrees in the sun. Boy is it ruff in California. Of course thats not tipacal. IOts usually foggy around here. Its just a really mild winter for ue this year.  :icon_smile_big: Sorry I just had to rub it in.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Your state sure has some funny town names. ;D
Actually, our state is worse...half of our towns are named after a dead prophet's kids.
At least you've got "Tinker Tavern".
