I just ripped out the crappy '69 seats and put a set of '70 highbacks in.. I had Dante make up a custom set of seat covers for me, and then the rebuild began.. But these things are AWESOME. Night and day from the 69 seats...

got to have 70 seats in a 70. the mopar highback seat is a very nice looking seat. i had my redone at a interior shop. dont like vinal so i had them done in black velour. there not hot in the summer or cold in the winter.  cost the same as seat covers. good luck with them. i still dont have seat belts. and if i did i still wouldnot wear them.

love the 70 charger seats  :drool5:  , as much as i love the 68 /69s  the 70 SE is   much better set up IMO :yesnod:  but would never swap though

I have 70s in the basement that came back to me with Sinnamon.  I got them 30+ years ago  ( sorry to say but the ripped up 69 seats went into a dumpster back then ).    They're still old and whatnot but they fit my butt then and they're gonna go back in.

But what I WANT is 70 hi backs with a 69 center pattern to match 69 rear seats and door panels.    Not 70 seats and 69 door panels, etc.
Maybe I'll talk to Dante at Carlisle.   :scratchchin:

Exactly.. He hooked me up with a gorgeous set of covers..

472 R/T SE

Years ago I had the '70 highbacks in the Daytona clone & I started looking for '69 front seats & never came across a set until I sold the car.  I found out then that the bench seat was the tough seat to get.  Years ago, everyone threw out those bench for buckets & now there was no extra surplus of bench.  :shruggy:

I don't like the bench anymore.  I had them in the '70 Super Bee I had.  Problem was I couldn't keep my butt on the driver's side.  I'd turn the corner too fast & end up being like the pig in the Geico commercial, "weee, weeeee.../head nod/....weeee".

These would look good in your car!?
