For the Road Runner owners out there in DC land (and there are a lot of you), Mac over at FBBO has started a registry. Lots of 69s and only a few other years, so far. I told him I would help out by passing the word along.

Yes there is debate over what the purpose is, why bother, plenty of haters after the Govier soap opera. I take him at his word when he says it's not about money or selling info, and he honestly doesn't know where it goes. But he took the initiative and I applaud him. So check it out.

Looks like he's posting full VIN information. Some owners may not like that.

I also see a dedicated .jpg image for each car. I'm not sure how he's doing that, but if it's a manual process of creating each one, it will get timely and unwieldy fairly quickly.

I know... back when I started the 1966-67 Charger Registry, I manually updated everything on the website. Now it's just a simple set of PHP scripts, and all I do is push a new database up online and the PHP displays the rest, no time at all there. All I need to focus on is keeping the information current on my hard drive, and even that takes a lot of time sometimes with new registrations coming in by email, as well as keeping track of all of the cars that come up via eBay.

There's only 53,000 potential 66-67 Chargers to worry about too, compared to RR production from 68-74 which I figure is over 200,000 cars.
