Question for owners of multiple Chargers

Do you try and keep them all in running condition and actually drive them or is there mainly one and the others are just for show?

Troy

What I try to do and what actually happens are two different things... :P

I generally try to keep them all running - if they were running to begin with! I currently have no drivable Chargers (although I ave a road-worthy Challenger and Mach 1). This is partially because I tend to only buy project cars which need complete restorations. If/when I do have a running car I refuse to tear into it unless it is a simple, short-term project or something breaks. If I have a car that runs but needs restored I'll keep driving it until another is on the road to take its place.

I'll never have a pure "show car" because I believe in driving the classics as much as possible. What's the point in having something like that if it never sees the road?

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

All of mine are in running, driving condition except the one I haven't restored yet.  I'm gathering parts for it, but not at a particularly fast pace.  I need to sell something to make room.

At the moment I have a pair, the 69 is running, but my 70 is having an engine re-build. Hopefully it will be back together as soon as the snow melts and all the salt is washed off the roads.

I keep them all in running condition, no matter if it is a show car or a beater driver

All of mine run, all drive anywhere, and if something breaks on one of 'em...it gets fixed right away

Sinnamon won't be running condition for a long time... I'm reluctant to do much with Black Betty unless it's a low buck or necessary fix for now.

Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.

I keep them all well-maintained & running. I drive them as time allows. 2 get driven more, 1 gets driven less.
Last year I drove my '69 the most only because it was the first year it was finally completed. Usually I like to drive my '68.
Like almost any other Charger owner, there is seemingly always something to do on these cars (or things you FIND to do!  :smilielol: ), so work is always in progress with little projects here & there.

I don't have multiple Chargers any more but I do have multiple mopars.  I try to keep them all running and rotate what car I take out so one doesn't end up only getting driven once or twice in the summer then put away.  This year has had a very mild winter, so I have managed to get them all out for drives through the winter.

When I first had two I was usually working on one. Now that the 71 & 72 are both done I drive them both. If the dog is also coming along for a ride he's only allowed in the 72. Once the 68 is done I'm pulling the 72 off the road to fix some poor body work and drop a built 360 in it, althou with gas approching $4/gallon I'm re-thinking the engine swap.

I'm struggling to get one one the road let alone keeping multiples on the road.

Cest le vie. It will happen eventually
