Control Arm Cam Bolts...

What direction do the upper control arm cam bolt nuts go on my 66?...facing each other or away and in the engine bay or does it even make a difference??...and what are they torqued at?
This is gonna be cheap and easy......

68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I never thought about why it would make a difference one way or the other....that is until my engine was back in, and I was reminded how close everything is under the hood. 

The alignment adjustments using the cam bolt can be performed easier with a big wrench from the wheel well area, I'll bet.

not with the car sitting on the alignment rack and with the tires on it....that's why the access panels in eng compartment

Don't the access panels allow you to get to the nuts (inside engine bay) from the wheel well?
