...friend of mine owned a Yelo HEMI Superbird (1985 or so) that was completely covered with green "funny fur" by the original owner...took forever to scrape the stuff off for new paint, but it turned out great...the original owner also had a red 70 HEMI Cuda done in the same fuzzy green flocking...not sure where it ended up either

I had heard the car was in the Chicago area some years ago...Yelo HEMI 4-spd Bird...I knew of the car when it was in Indiana for a few years...it was in a magazine photo shoot with my F6 Daytona

ah, i might be able to guess who owned it then.

this area sure had/has some unexplainable magnetic effect on wing cars.

...Rick C. (Hartford City) owned it in the late 1980's and he sold it to Mike C. (Hartford City) at the James Dean Show in 1988

wherever it is, it'll be interesting to know if it's still all flocked up.

...Rick told me when he removed the flocking, it was the worst job he ever got into...they used sanding discs and the glue under the flocking would get hot and gum up the discs...took forever to get the stuff off of the car...best I remember, it was down in the engine compartment too...Rick also had a few other really rare and interesting MOPARS...bought my first P-Pink T/A in Ricks garage, from his friend Steve and Steve also had a couple of interesting MOPARS ...wonder where they all went

...Rick used to carry a pretty good sized chunk of the flocking in the Superbird so people could see what it was covered with...I never saw the flocked HEMI Cuda with my own eyes, just his story about it...the cars were both owned by the same guy and he was the original owner best I remember
