I came across a local ad for a '68 Charger R/T 4 speed car around 1988 or so and I purchased the car. Life got in the way around '91 or so and I wanted out of the "old car" hobby so every thing was sold. The car showed up on Kijiji last year after having the body done but I wasn't in the position to go after it having purchased a new Challenger R/T. It was going for $10k, $9k, then disappeared...so I suspect that it was sold.  This thing still sits in the back of my mind....

I recall that charger... Its a RT 4spd IIRC.

Here is a 318 car that was listed on craigslist last spring I believe for 14k.   :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

Except for the wheels (mine had hubcaps), here's what the car looked like originally ...same stripe.

Here is one from the muscle car show. It is a 4spd also.

Plum crazy being my favorite for '70 & newer, that burgundy is my favorite before then.

There's a guy on the board with a 'bird & a '68 Coronet R/T that color that I absolutely love.   :2thumbs:

It must have been a 20'er cause it sure looks good before you stripped it.
