Interesting 426 Hemi Craigslist Ad

Was browsing craigslist and came across this deal for a '70 roadrunner and 426 Hemi. Seemed like a good deal but I knew I had seen that picture before.... Matches the picture of the green Superbee on Cars in Barns.

Hmmm... Same motor or scam?

Most likely not a scam but a practical joke. Post ad with crazy low price and then use your friends phone number. People will keep calling the number all day to see if it's real or not.

Scam? Without the photo you matched, no. With the photo, spells scam.

The phone number is in Ohio, the motor is in Central LA (at least it seems that way). I know, there are plausible explanations, but to me it smells funny to have a phone number and the ad separated by 3000 miles.

Did this a few years ago.... Took a picture of my friends lifted Ford Explorer off of his Facebook and put it on craigslist with his phone number with a description and a "must sell asap $900"


He got something like 46 calls before he turned his phone off  ;D
