Currently unemployed - in process for another federal job

Had to resign my old position to retake the ASVAB for enlistment reasons - was treading water for a couple months then another federal agency contacted me...    funny how the world works some times.

Mostly a white collar worker here, Electrical Engineer by degree, Computer/Software/Systems/Hardware/etc Engineer in all practicality. Also started my own Software LLC on the side which gets whatever time I have left. Have one product out there already and working on the 2nd. No way to vote for both so go with what pays the bills.

I'm a grumpy pissed off switchman for the railroad and do IT work at a print shop part time. Used to mow fields and lots as a part time job on the weekends in the summer but that went into the poopoo when my lower back and the economy did too.

Carpenter Framer here..... I WAS employed until finishing up on a job a week ago. I'm back looking for work. I framed houses since 1988 but not so much lately. Maybe some of you have read about the housing downturn?   :lol:
The only work out there seems to be funded by the Feds: Schools and highway construction.

Self employed Electrical Contractor , 20th year being self employed, mainly industrial and newspaper print industry, busy enough and got forward work which is a bonus, it was pretty slow a few years ago for a while but picked up again
