I have no idea what the building code are now but my garage pretty much goes all the way to the edges of the property lines. These buildings are in the city limits and are probably at least 30 years old.

Oh, I rent the garage (technically "warehouse") and it is not at my house. I can't see me ever living in the city if I can help it. However, property there is cheap and available in this economy.

yea,in the cities the regulations are alot different. my aunt lived in st.louis and there was enough room for a concrete walkway between the houses. all the garages were in the back off the alley.  :yesnod:
