My bench seat has developed a very anoying "rock" back and forth. It is slop in the seat track. I can reach down and feel the lower half of the track firmly bolted to the floor, while the upper part, the seat, is moving slightly, up and down, not forward and back. I assume it is slop in the track itself? Is there a fix for this?

Could be the mountings from the track to the seat itself. I think that 's the problem.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I just had the same problem with my Pontiac...the seat track was coming un-bolted from the seat frame
