You guys got a hell of a deal!!!! Those days of finding them for that price in that shape are pretty much gone!

I agree! And the more Chuck and I looked at it yesterday, the more we got excited!  :popcrn:  A few features on it were pretty cool. Chuck and Wade will chime in later with details, im sure.  :2thumbs:

MOPAR OR NO CAR

1966 Dodge Charger 383 CI

Skip showed up with the car today. Looks better in person than the pics.  Minor rust issue in the lower quarters and nice straight body. I couldn't be happier with it.  ;D
I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Gonna have to unfollow this one... been kicking myself all week, and seeing what I let go by turn out to be everything I'd hoped to locate is simply killing me.

So what are your plans for this car?  Restoration?  I'd say its worthy of a stock restoration. :Twocents: There's always enough General Lee's out there should you want one after this project.  :2thumbs:

Yea ummm Skippy,.........I thought you went to Arizona to work,  not PLAY?  :smilielol: :nana: J/K. Miss you!  :-*

I said this car would be running by Friday but I was wrong.   We had it running today and it will be road worthy by tomorrow.    The motor has a cam, torker intake, headers, all going back to a rear end with some good gears and a suregrip.
I plan on checking the numbers on the motor tomorrow to see if by chance it's numbers matching.     :2thumbs:
